The first week of October! YAAASSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!! Knowing the last three months of the year, the best months of the year, are here and Fall is upon us makes me so happy! Those who know me know that I jump head first into this season and nothing is left undecorated, unscented or without having been fully immersed in the occasion. One thing I love to do during these months is drink my coffee outside on our back porch in the morning; hearing the birds sing, the crickets chirp, the occasional cool breeze rustling the leaves on the trees and listening to what God has to tell me that day is peaceful. Just breathing in the air and being silent and thankful. (This usually ends up being my only few minutes alone in the day, where I close the back door and drown out the kids arguments and screaming. I'll take it!) A cool breeze can't be felt here in Georgia at midday in October but pre 8AM and post 8PM it can be. Those are great times to be outside and feel the early indications that the weather is changing and making way for bonfires, sweaters and warm food and drinks. The leaves have started to turn and I have my mums and pumpkins posted at the front door to tell mother nature I am ready for her to bring her A game in this last quarter of the year. So today I am sharing my take on this season with you! And I am excited if you couldn't tell! Let's Do This!
Check out all the pics below! I'll be back soon with some Fall outfit options, more of our sweet baby Caroline and the boys taking part in some fun Fall festivities!
Love Heather and Happy Fall!
So basically everything here came from either Hobby Lobby, Marshalls or Save On Crafts, a great online craft and decor retailer.
The buffalo plaid pumpkin banner is from Kirklands and my mug is from Wal-Mart!
This truck hanger and the pumpkin hanger on my front door are both from The Red Barn. A cute little craft/painting spot in Chickamauga, Ga. where my friends and I do a girls night, usually twice a year! It's great fun and you get to create your own art for the season. They offer art for all seasons of the year! I have a Christmas door hanger as well! Check them out on Facebook!
