Well it’s been a few good months in the making but the boy’s
room update is finally finished. I kept running into snags and changing my mind
on what I wanted to do. I think it turned out so great though. It’s clean
(for the time being), rustic and organized. We took all the toys out except for
a couple of baskets on the floor and put the rest of them in the playroom…
where they belong. It got so out of hand with toys in their room that they were
tripping on them and not putting them away like they should. So now at the end
of the night if there is anything not in cubbies/baskets we threaten to throw
it away. That seems to be helping for the most part! Haha So a lot of this stuff
we already had but there are some things that we updated. The brothers wooden
sign was a requested piece from Drawn Design, a local artist that has a booth at
Vinterest in both Chattanooga and Hixson and a pretty well updated Facebook page. Check him out for great rustic farmhouse
artwork or to request something specific. I also went as low key as just plain
printing some black and white art from the internet and framing it. I tried to
be pretty frugal with this room since baby Caroline is coming soon. I was
going for a camping theme, not sure if that’s what really turned out though.
It’s more like a couple of camping elements and not an entire flowing theme,
but it’ll do in a penny pinch. Sawyer wanted to hang out in his room when I was
taking pictures and he was cracking me up with his modeling on the bed and his
expert help snapping a couple of these pictures. Haha He was my little helper
on this post for sure. All of the goods in these pics are listed below or
something similar if items are no longer available. Alright I hope everyone has an amazing weekend. We have an ultrasound today for baby Caroline and our first shower this Sunday with family and friends. I am so looking forward to this weekend!

all colors for 19.99 each and that’s not a sale. That’s all the time. I know
your eyes almost popped out right? Yep they are a great deal. I want to get a
new white one for our bed soon.

Lanterns- Amazon …These are great because they are battery
powered and the clear parts are plastic instead of glass. The kids love to make
a fort and take these inside for light!
Curtains- Similar These were actually fabric shower curtains that I had
made into curtains by a dear friend a few years ago when this style just came
out and was outrageously priced. But now you can find them just about anywhere.
