How long does it take you to unpack from vacation?

I hope I'm finding you all well in mid June. It's HOT here in Tennessee/Georgia! Stifling is more so the right word! It's hotter here than it was on our vacation in Florida last week, which was probably best for me right now. We are home and ready to get things unpacked and back in order. I say that but do I really mean it?...which brings me to this quandary...A question for you all- How long does it take you to unpacked your vacation suitcase? I don't think I have ever unpacked all my bags within the first week of being back home. It's such a chore. And everything that I really love to wear is all right there in one spot for the time being. So why not leave it there a little longer. Let's not let my husband know this or he may try to make the argument that I don't really need the rest of my closet contents. The truth is we just haven't had time to unpack. Most of the whole family's bags are all still packed up. And I do not have a time in the foreseeable future that I plan to unpack them. After our Blue Ridge trip this winter my husband, who normally packs his things in a garbage bag (that's not a lie, total truth- he is a true minimalist) left his suitcase (a duffel bag I eventually bought for him due to getting tired of seeing his garbage bag luggage on every trip) Anyway... he left his suitcase packed up for a month after we got home! Yep... I finally just said unpack or I am throwing this all away! So I'm hoping everyone else is just as lazy as us when it comes to this topic.

So we got new carpet on this trip, meaning we came home to a pretty much packed up house... this update was such a great decision for us and has made our home feel so much more comfortable and so much newer! But because of the update we had a lot to do when we got home to say the least. I am trying to make myself unpack a few boxes each night to get each room back to normal. But these days I am getting bigger and more exhausted by the minute so I'm thinking it's going to take a while. Let's just say I need a good pep talk. Say a little prayer for my current ambitions if you get the chance...

On a fashion note...these cami fit and flare dresses from Old Navy really accentuate my belly right now! They are also really comfortable and still look dressy enough for the office. I have them in quite a few colors and patterns. This one in particular my son thought was a “sundress” because it has small yellow flowers that also happen to look like the sun. He thought he was super witty with his new name for it at church one Sunday! I told him he didn’t know how right he  was…. because it is a sundress after all. He makes me laugh with all the stuff he comes up with. This cream boyfriend cardigan will be in both of my posts this week because it’s so versatile. It is one of my favorites from Old Navy however I also like this one , which is currently available. A good, casual boyfriend cardi can go with so much and go from summer to fall so easily. And of course cream is my favorite clothing color of all. Get yourself one of these STAT!

Talk to ya'll soon!
Love Heather
