Birthday Season, Baseball and go, go, go...

Hey guys! Spring and Easter are just around the corner! But yet they feel so far away with all this cold weather that keeps returning. We are in for temps in the 40's for the next week or so...March in the South is like a roller coaster. But I can't wait to get my Easter decorations out. Pictures to come.

Along with this time of year comes what we in the Bradford household call Birthday Season. For the next 3 months there are birthday parties of family and friends every weekend it seems. We evidently had a hyper procreation Spring a few years ago around our neck of the woods and since then I have joked we need to start a birthday fund for all the gift giving. It's insane. All this stuff racks up. And my kids are no exception, with one in March and one in May we are pushing the budget to the max. And my husband and I both have April birthdays. Which these days we don't really count anymore. I love my birthday, don't get me wrong. It's just when you have kids it becomes more of an after thought than a priority to celebrate yourself. We usually still go to dinner with family but there is no big to do or gift giving. I am simply thankful for another year with my family's good health, happiness and safety. It's hard to beat that! So here's to my monthly Marshall's runs for several birthday gift purchases. They have the best stuff for kids, adults and the home all in one stop. You just can't go wrong!

Spring Baseball starts up this week also. Two practices a week and the season starts in April. Its sort of like our jolt back into the outdoors from the winter blues months, even though we still have a good bit of rain and cold until mid April. Jackson loves baseball and I think Sawyer just loves being at the baseball field cheering on his big bro, feeling like he is apart of it all... acting like a big man with his baseball hat, sunglasses and pop cycle or sucker hanging out of his mouth...Haha.. Birthday parties and baseball games running into each others time slots on Saturdays and Sundays for three months straight...We are constantly just passing off one kid for another between Aaron and myself, and hitting the road again until May ends. Its fun but exhausting and it flies by non stop. This last weekend was a nice sneak peak of Spring weather for us. As you will be able to tell in my pictures below it was windy one.
