My kitchen is the smallest room in our house and it needs some updates, which I hope to get done this year. In our next home I hope to
have a larger kitchen with better finishes but until that time I’ll use what I
got. So when I get new dish towels, cookbooks, décor or utensils it brightens
up the entire room and my mood all at the same time. I received a bunch of new Pioneer
Woman stuff for my kitchen at Christmas and I’m excited to use it all.
The Pioneer Woman's new cook book is full of recipes that I plan on trying out in the next few months.
Especially the soups and bakes for these cold days we keep having. Below are
dish towels in a couple of fun, bright patterns with floral prints and a pretty
spring blue. Ree’s new cookbook and a great cook book stand that my
mother-in-law got for me in a distressed wood style are also shown. I love anything that is distressed…it reminds
me of the farmhouse feel. This cook book stand is actually from a shop called Southern with Grace located in Cartersville, Ga. They sale all the farmhouse decor that your and my heart could desire! I also got some adorable measuring spoons and wooden
utensils. Wooden or steel utensils are always best to cook with so you aren’t
worrying about what’s in them when they are heated up, as you would with
plastic utensils these days. The drying mats are also Pioneer Woman brand. All
these florals just make my heart happy when I look at them, don’t you agree?!
The circle braided place mat/pot holder pictured is one of my favorites. That mint blue
just stands out to me. I have also added a close up picture of the Bean and
Bacon Soup that my husband is most excited for us to try out. So there you have it. There
are so many more items in her Wal-mart home collection that I would
love to get my hands on; dishes, cake stands, canisters, bedding and pots and pans. Pop
over to their site and check them all out for yourself.
I need to get her book! I dropped hints to Greg but apparently he didn't pick them up. -_-
